O God, Our Strength
As we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, it is only fitting that we continue to proclaim the same message Luther proclaimed: GRACE ALONE - FAITH ALONE - SCRIPTURE ALONE. Beth Dauenhauer's hymn, "O God, Our Strength," triumphantly proclaims the grace God gives through his Word, which works faith in our hearts. It expresses the beautiful confidence that God will protect and preserve his church through trouble and difficulty. And it petitions the Lord to guide us as we proclaim and defend Scripture's holy truth.
